I guess libraries should embrace new technologies such as Library 2.0 for fear of losing potential clients. However, decisions will have to be made as to which technologies will be adopted and also there will be the need to have the staff resources to constantly monitor and update these technologies.

I think the reason why we adopt these technologies is important. There has to be a benefit for library service delivery and not just be implementing something because it is new or Web 2.0. Sometimes it is also a catch 22 situation where we don't know the impact of something new until we try it??
So much to think about..
